Lab Members
My laboratory is comprised of a diverse set of individuals who have different needs and strengths. Some students are older than others and have different life experiences. Some have different socio-economic statuses, or are navigating a new career path, or are married, or have kids. Some are graduate students and some are undergraduate students. Some have varying levels of English communication, or speak a multitude of languages. Some are self-motivated, and some need external motivation. All students bring a unique perspective and set of skills to the lab, which enriches all of us.
One of my students made this pie for a party we had. What I love most about it is that they thought the lab was a team, which is exactly what I was hoping people in the group would feel.
